What is a Shared SSL?

Shared SLL allows you to secure a portion of your website without an expensive personal SSL certificate. You can then make use of this secure connection to collect customer information for example.

The SSL is an encrypted version of the standard HTTP protocol.

The URL to access your Shared SSL space would be in the format: https://webservername.securedwebspace.com/yourdomain-com. For the correct URL, please login to the Helm Control Panel and navigate to the Shared SSL section of a domain's settings. In this section, you will be shown the URL to your Shared SSL space.
